ABOUT JUST KEEP RIDING EVENTS

Just Keep Riding Events is proud to produce RSNC sortings across California with a focus on community, growth, and giving riders a place to compete, improve, and belong. We’ve had an incredibly successful year — including one of the largest Mid‑State Fair sortings in recent history — and we’re committed to continuing that momentum as we head toward State Finals.

We carry forward the spirit of the Cow Pony Legacy in honor of Wendy Wedemeyer, who passed us the reins to keep RSNC strong in California. Our mission is simple: build great shows, support great riders, and keep growing the sport we love.

California has stepped up in a big way. This season, our team counts have more than doubled, our shows are drawing bigger crowds, and our online reach continues to grow. Riders are sharing, tagging, and engaging with our posts — helping spread the word and bring new faces into the arena.

This growth is exactly why California is now #2 in the nation behind Texas for RSNC team count — and that ranking earns us the privilege of awarding SADDLES to our High Point State Champions at State Finals.

Points are earned all year long at RSNC shows across California, and the champions in Beginner/Rookie, Novice, and Amateur will take home saddles because of the incredible participation and support from our riders.

🐎 THE COW PONY LEGACY HIGH POINT AWARD

Alongside State Finals, we run the Cow Pony Legacy High Point Award, a special year‑long race honoring Wendy Wedemeyer. This award is based on each rider’s Top 10 runs, and the winner will take home a Kubota side‑by‑side. It’s one of the most meaningful prizes we offer, and it represents the heart of our season.
